Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a non surgical cosmetic procedure where skin is exfoliated without the use of chemicals or lasers. The dead skin is partially or completely removed by light abrasion.

Microdermabrasion is most commonly used to remove sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damaged skin, acne prone skin, blackheads, whiteheads, superficial age spots, hyperpigmentation, oily, dry or patchy skin.

Here on the Depilex site we have a microdermabrasion machine which you can purchase to use in your beauty salon. This particular machine is known as the Reviderm. This machine can be adapted depending on what you need to use it for.

The skin peeler basic is the entry level unit which comes with some advanced features that make microdermabrasion treatments highly effective and daily handling and maintenance easy.

The skin peeler new generation is an advanced unit with additional features compared with the skin peeler basic, all of which are aimed at giving the therapist more refined control of microdermabrasion treatments to get even better results and ultimate client satisfaction.

The skin peeler new generation with ultra sound is the ultimate unit with all of the new generation model's features plus three levels of ultrasound, variable ultrasound frequency, timer to pre-set individual treatment duration and separate ultrasound titanium head hand piece.

How Does Microdermabrasion Work?

Microdermabrasion works by passing a hand held device (either the skin peeler basic, the skin peeler new or the skin peeler new generation with ultra sound) over the skin you wish to remove. Each of these devices uses s a highly controlled flow of fine, medical grade crystals which move over the skin.

Each of the crystals are vacuumed away immediately, taking with them the top layer of skin which you want to remove. By removing the top layer of skin you are exposing new, fresh skin which means it will absorb your face creams or treatments a lot better.
